After July 2021 we have had to make our own decisions on how to keep safe from the continuing risk of covid infection.
The Vicar and Churchwardens undertake a monthly review to decide our policy.  At present the following restrictions apply:

  • Limits on numbers in our buildings
  • Congregation encouraged to sit well spaced
  • Face masks are requested to be worn
  • Communion is distrubuted in one kind only
  • You may sing if wearing a face mask

We want our church to be a place where all, whether young or old, feel safe.
Please continue to follow recommendations for Hands, Face, Space to reduce your risk and reassure others.
When in our buildings please:

  • Wear a mask
  • Use hand sanitiser
  • Maintain social distancing

Our limitations on numbers in church apply to all services at both buildings including christenings, weddings, funerals etc .  The limits are:

St Nicholas’ Church: 75 people

St Saviour’s Church: 120 people

These limits exclude anyone acting in an official capacity (eg Vicar, choir, band, verger).  They are reviewed at the end of each month.
