TITUS 3:4-7 NLT
But when God our Saviour revealed his kindness and love, he saved us,
   not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy.
He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit.
He generously poured out the Spirit upon us through Jesus Christ our Saviour.
Because of his grace he made us right in his sight and gave us confidence that we will inherit eternal life.

Titus 3:4-7 MSG
But when God, our kind and loving Saviour God, stepped in, he saved us from all that.
It was all his doing; we had nothing to do with it.
He gave us a good bath, and we came out of it new people,
   washed inside and out by the Holy Spirit.
Our Saviour Jesus poured out new life so generously.
God’s gift has restored our relationship with him and given us back our lives.
And there’s more life to come – an eternity of life! You can count on this.
