Proverbs 2:1-6 NIV
My son, if you accept my words
    and store up my commands within you,
turning your ear to wisdom
    and applying your heart to understanding—
indeed, if you call out for insight
    and cry aloud for understanding,
and if you look for it as for silver
    and search for it as for hidden treasure,
then you will understand the fear of the Lord
    and find the knowledge of God.
For the Lord gives wisdom;
    from his mouth come knowledge and understanding

Ephesians 1:17-19
I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe.

What is utterly astounding is that all of this is a gift.
God gives me His Spirit of wisdom and revelation.
God opens the eyes of my heart.
God calls me to a pathway of hope,
God gives me a glorious inheritance.
God gifts me with power.
All I have to do is ask.
And keep asking for myself and for other believers.
