Lord God
We are made in your image so we should be:
   wise and loving, creative and workers together in community.
If we were, your world would be very good.
There is so much that is good,
   may we build on this.
There is also much that is wrong with the world,
   may we change so that your world may again be the place you intended.
Reduce our greed and increase our compassion.
May we be wise and loving as we care for every person made in your image.
May we be creative and work together as we tackle poverty and climate change.
Lord in your mercy – hear our prayer.
