Forgive us our sins,
as we have forgiven those who sin against us.
And don’t let us yield to temptation,
but rescue us from the evil one.

Lord,
bring new life where we are worn and tired,
new love where we have turned hard-hearted,
forgiveness, where we feel hurt and we have wounded,
and the joy and freedom of your Holy Spirit,
where we are the prisoners of ourselves.
Amen.
Lord, I feel guilty and unclean.
My wrongdoings have made me ashamed to speak to you.
I am truly sorry for my sins.
Please forgive me and accept me as your child.
Renew me, even though I don’t deserve it.
Thank you for Jesus dying on the cross in my place.
I ask you to forgive me for his sake. Amen.
Lord God, help me!
I need to let go of my hurt and pain.
It is eating me away inside.
I don’t know how to,
I’m not sure I want to.
But I know that it is holding me down,
It is stopping me from being free.
Please help me to let go, perhaps a little bit at a time.
I cannot do this on my own,
Lord God, please help me. Amen
