The Church has a team of about 25 Pastoral Visitors (PVs) who are willing to undertake visits. Providing pastoral visits to individuals in our community is one of the Church’s most important tasks; ‘looking out’ for those in our midst who made need help and support  is a sign of a caring Church. We are happy to make visits to people wherever they are: in their own homes; in sheltered accommodation; in residential homes; in hospital.

All of our Pastoral Visitors (PVs) have chosen to be involved in this area of the Church’s work in our community and are committed to being helpful and supportive. All our PVs have:

  • been authorised to do this work by the Revd. Simon Newham;
  • been DBS-checked;
  • undertaken Basic Safeguarding Awareness Training.

We trust that this will help to reassure anyone who may wish to be visited, and if you would like to arrange for someone to call on you, please phone the Church Office on 624584.
