Good news, we have a new Manager! 

Kay Forrest was appointed in September 2021 when we were able to resume our weekly ‘Friday Club’ in the Village Hall.
Like us all, our members have been isolated and this has been particularly hard for those who live alone, are older and often frail.
Now they are once more able to look forward to a stimulating and enjoyable day out each week. 

There is a dedicated team of 28 volunteers, this number includes five cooks who prepare lunch and five minibus drivers.
From 10.00am to 3:15pm there are planned activities, with lots of conversation and nostalgia.
We urgently need more volunteers able to give just three hours twice a month to support Kay and help our members participate in everything. 

Can you spare a morning or afternoon every other week?

We sincerely thank Elaine Chester who began as a volunteer in 1987, has been Manager and lately Interim Manager,
who with her late husband John as Treasurer, ran the Friday Club for so many years.
