You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it; you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings.

I learned God-worship when my pride was shattered.
Heart shattered lives ready for love don’t for a moment escape God’s notice. 

In reflecting on God’s Majesty, we recognise our smallness:
glimpsing Eternity humbles us!

Lord Jesus,
You humbled yourself in becoming human and entering our world.
Help me to show others the gentleness, compassion and kindness you demonstrated,
   and give me the grace to resist when I’m tempted to behave proudly or arrogantly.
I want to be small!
And, like a little child, I place myself in your hands, trusting in your Mercy and Love,
   in your name I pray, Amen.
