Members have been busy making Fidget Quilts for people who have dementia and after being blessed in a recent church service, 10 have been presented to Heartland Manor for use by their residents.

Members have been busy making Fidget Quilts for people who have dementia and after being blessed in a recent church service, 10 have been presented to Heartland Manor for use by their residents.
We have some very interesting speakers in the next 6 months, so hope you might join us for some/all of our meetings. Everyone is welcome – you don’t even have to be a woman!
We began the Mothering Sunday weekend by making spring posies to be given out to the congregation at the Sunday service, and also arrangements for the two Care Homes in the village – see photos below. At the Mothering Sunday service, a Mission Sunday, our Vicar Simon, invited the Mothers’

Once again, members filled ‘Little Bags of Love’ to be given to parents of children starting school in September. Each bag contained a tea bag, a coffee sachet, chocolate biscuits, a sachet of drinking chocolate, a small pack of tissues, a prayer card and literature leaflet about the work of
Members spent an enjoyable morning making 150 posies for distribution to the congregations at St. Nicholas’ and St. Saviour’s Mothering Sunday services and Geraldine Angel and Esther Browne made beautiful planted arrangements for the residents of Forest Oaks and Woodpeckers Care Homes.
