Congratulations to members who took part in the August Bank Holiday Brockival carnival and mini flower festival in St. Saviour’s Church – a huge success and a wonderful opportunity to promote the Mothers’ Union.
To mark the 150th Anniversary of the birth of the Mothers’ Union, during the month of August, Brockenhurst Branch put together a display of knitted and crocheted flowers in the grounds of St. Saviour’s Church. Many of the flowers were then moved into the church for a mini flower festival
Once again, MU members gave ‘Little Bags of Love’ to parents of children starting school. Each bag contained tea, coffee and chocolate sachets, a bar or chocolate, a packet of tissues, a prayer card and a leaflet explaining about the Mothers’ Union. The bags were decorated and filled after our

Members have been busy making Fidget Quilts for people who have dementia and after being blessed in a recent church service, 10 have been presented to Heartland Manor for use by their residents.
We began the Mothering Sunday weekend by making spring posies to be given out to the congregation at the Sunday service, and also arrangements for the two Care Homes in the village – see photos below. At the Mothering Sunday service, a Mission Sunday, our Vicar Simon, invited the Mothers’
